'Batman v Superman' Movie News, Cast, Spoilers: How Does the Latest Batmobile Differ From Previous Versions?
More excitement builds up as Zack Snyder's version of the Batmobil is coming in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"
Variant Comics recently released a video that gives a private tour of the different Batmobiles that have appeared in the movies, including the skeletal hot rod version used by Val Kilmer in "Batman Forever" and the military-grade tank that Christian Bale used in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy. The video reveals all that fans would love about this all-black beauty such as the shaved-down, tractor tires, and a forward-facing Gatling gun. What is noticeable, though, is its beat-up exterior that is said to be intentionally made to match Batman's world-weary disposition.
In the world of movies where fans clamor for excitement and filmmakers are pressed to come up with something unique, the Batmobil is said to surely impress as the infamous vehicle of the Caped Crusader will be very different in the new film. Snyder was asked to give some details, and he said, "The new Batmobile is super fast. It's purpose built, which I like. We imagine that Batman built it over time, you know, with parts from Wayne Industries or something. He's made it specifically for the job of fighting crime," CinemaBlends reports.
According to news, fans should expect the Batmobil to continue evolving over time. Snyder's idea is that The Batmobil is Bruce Wayne's project that he has his hands busy with over the years. The pieces that Bruce got from Wayne Industries were added and put into use in the said car.
For now, fans would have to wait and see what Affleck and his new ride could bring when "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
