'Batman v Superman' news, spoilers, updates: Batman gets more screen time? New high-resolution images revealed
In the biggest DC superhero film soon to be released, a new rumor has surfaced regarding the production giving Batman more screen time than Superman, fueling some debates among fans.
According to some reports, Warner Bros. is leaning on increasing Batman's on-screen time while decreasing Superman's appearances. The Latin Post suggests that in a movie revolving around two superheroes, not to mention the movie's title, it could be a bad idea to give more screen time to one and cut down the amount of time the other spends on screen.
The outlet further explains that when "Spider-Man" was released in 2007, the masses and media reacted differently from what was expected and the reason behind is because too many characters fought for screen time.
On the other hand, the report says "Dawn of Justice" could only allow for additional screen time for one of the big heroes "if the story calls for it."
Meanwhile, Den of Geek acquired some quite amazing photos in high resolution that look into the scenes of the movie, with one photo taking the attention of many fans as it shows a better and much closer look at the new Batmobile.
One of the images also shows Batman (Ben Affleck) staring down at his hero suit, in what appears to be the moment when he decides to suit up again in an attempt to take down Superman.
Meanwhile, the debate continues as to which superhero will claim victory in the end, along with the question as to which "new threat" the synopsis is referring to when it said, "And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."
Collider suggests that though it is still uncertain what impact Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) brings into the battle, he could be the threat to mankind, along with another villain whose role is probably going to be revealed before the movie's launch.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for a March 25, 2016 release.
