'Batman v Superman' Plot Rumors: Is Bizarro the Big Bad?

As the excitement for "Batman v Superman" continues to pile up, so do rumors, and one of the latest theories that has become a hot topic of debate is that of Bizarro entering the picture as the "big bad" instead of Doomsday.

In a theoretical approach, Comic Book explains that Bizarro may be the huge threat that Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman are about to face in "Dawn of Justice."

The outlet refers to a lengthy account of how Bizarro came about. It also says the villain is a reasonable foe to put up against Superman and Batman since fans already know that Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor has been messing around with General Zod's DNA.

First of all, Bizarro entered the world of comic books in Superboy #68, which was released in 1958. The villain is a "flawed imitation" of Superboy, according to the outlet, and displays "bizarre" behavior. He was initially killed in the comics but was later resurrected, or better yet, created again and again by none other than Lex Luthor, resulting to a twisted version of Superman.

At one point, the villain turned his back on his creator and even helped Superman but later became greedy and used the duplicating ray that built him to create other duplicates of not just himself but other people as well.

If director Zack Snyder decides to put Bizarro on the front row against DC's biggest superheroes, it may create a complicated story line, especially since fans already believe that Doomsday will be the villain.

On the other hand, Bizarro's entry is not all that bad since he is known in the comics as a failed clone of Superman that Luthor has been trying to recreate several times. In the trailers revealed for the upcoming movie, it seems that Doomsday was created from General Zod's body that Luthor acquired after the events that occurred in "Man of Steel."

Basically, both Doomsday and Bizarro are results of genetic plays made by Luthor. Either of them will definitely pose a huge threat not only Batman and Superman but to the entire planet as well.

To find out if Bizarro turns out to be the big villain, watch "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" when it premieres on March 25, 2016.
