'Battlefield 4' Easter Egg: Secret Camo, Logic Puzzles, Video Editing and More For Players

One player has discovered a very elaborate "Battlefield 4" Easter egg that unlocks a unique camo, one that only DICE employees previously had access to. To get the camo, players have to go through a complicated process that is explained in the video below.

YouTuber jackfrags posted an 11-minute video (below) detailing the Easter egg, which he dubbed "Illuminati Easter egg." The quest for the Easter egg starts in the new Dragon Valley map, which is the 2015 version of "Battlefield 2's" popular map released last week.

Jackfrags said this Easter egg is "probably the most elaborate Easter egg that Battlefield 4 has to offer." The process to actually discover and receive the Easter egg secret camo involves translating Morse codes, solving logic puzzles, finding hidden objects, and even audio editing. Although some dedicated players might try their hand at finding this Easter egg, others think the complicated process is too much and the reward not worth it.

The reward for those who will succeed is a DICE Los Angeles camo. Jackfrags explains the entire process he went through to receive it in the video below. He notes, though, that the challenge is individualized and includes random components.

The Easter egg is believed to be created by Julian Manolov, an engineer at DICE LA who is known for making elaborate Easter eggs. Jackfrags found a reference to "jjju" in one Morse code message he deciphered. jjju is Manolov's Twitter handle.

Last fall, "Battlefield 4's" Final Stand DLC also contained an Easter egg, a compound bow called The Phantom. Acquiring this all-class ranged weapon also involved a "complicated and treacherous process," according to Screen Rant.

Other previous "Battlefield 4" Easter eggs include a giant shark or megalodon in the Nansha Strike map of Naval Strike DLC, a couple of dinosaur Easter eggs, references to Battlefield Friends and other DICE projects, and even real Easter eggs in a basket on the roof in Flood Zone.
