Bayer Leverkusen vs Barcelona Live Stream, Start Time: Watch UEFA Champions League Online
This is their final group stage matches.
Playing their final group stage matches of this year's UEFA Champions League, Bayer Leverkusen host FC Barcelona at BayArena in a Group E battle.
The match is on December 9, 2015 at 2:45 PM ET.
At the moment, only the Catalans are assured a place in the next round as they lead the group with 13 points, while AS Roma and Bayer are tied with five points – with the German club third.
BATE Borisov are fourth in the table but still have a slim chance of moving through to the next round.
With only one more spot available and three teams battling for position, this should be a very entertaining final day for the participants in Group E.
For Bayer to move on, they must find a way to beat Barcelona at home and hope that Roma fail to get a point against BATE in their match as well.
If Bayer settle for a draw, and Roma gets at least a point, then they are relegated to the UEFA Europa League instead.
However, if Bayer lose and Roma are upset by BATE in their final match, then Bayer will drop to fourth and will end their European campaign, while Roma will end up in the Europa League and BATE will finish the table second.
With all these in mind, it is important that Bayer must try to get a big win against the defending champions if they want to keep their spot in the next round.
However, if their earlier meeting means anything, then the Catalans have one up over their German counterparts as they have already beaten them earlier in the competition when they met at Camp Nou.
Bayer must hope that Barcelona decide to rest their stars in order to have a realistic chance of toppling the Spanish champions.
