Beatles Kids Band - 4 Sons of Band Members to Play Together?
The offspring of the legendary British band The Beatles could be forming their own group, according to James McCartney.
McCartney is the only son of Beatles singer Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney. The 34-year-old has told the BBC that he and the sons of Beatles members John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr have considered forming a band.
Of Lennon's son Sean, Harrison's son Dhani, and Starr's son, Zak Starkey, McCartney said he was not opposed to launching "The Beatles: The Next Generation."

"I'd be up for it," said the singer and guitarist, according to BBC Online. "Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be in to it."
He noted that Starkey was unsure about the idea, but that the band could "hopefully" happen with "nature's support."
All four adult sons of the famous group have followed in their fathers' musical footsteps. Sean Lennon is a singer and song writer based in New York; Dhani Harrison leads the London rock band thenewno2; while Zak Starkey serves as drummer like his father, Ringo Starr, and has played for bands such as The Who and Oasis.
As a child, McCartney and his older sisters Mary and Stella would join their parents as The Beatles toured the world.
While McCartney has released solo albums in addition to playing guitar and drums on his father's solo albums, the musician divulged that he "dreamt of being better than The Beatles."
"I'm not sure if I can do that," he added. "If anything, I would love to be equal to The Beatles - but even that's quite enough."
Paul McCartney, 69, is still producing music. The famous singer just released his latest album "Kisses on the Bottom" earlier this year.
Even decades after their rise to fame, The Beatles still claim millions of fans across the world. News of The Beatles' sons possibly forming a band sparked conversation on Twitter Wednesday amongst passionate music fans.
"I can guarantee a next gene Beatles won't be good," posted Nico.
"Four of the Beatles' kids may get together to form a band," wrote Euan. "That may be the worst idea in history."
Erik posted a positive message about the potential group, writing: "Make The Beatles 2 happen. My kids will need good music to grow to."
Another fan, Jarret, joked, "The kids of the Beatles are thinking about starting a band, Yoko's daughter thinking about ruining it."
Commenting on the headline using the famous song Beatles "Here Comes the Sun," Twitter user Marc posted, "Good punnery by the Guardian for "The Beatles' kids to form a band, Here Come the Sons."
