Ben Affleck Alcohol Addiction Relapse: Batman Actor Spotted Stumbling and Disoriented; Back in Rehab?

Did Ben Affleck have an alcohol addiction relapse? Sources said they saw the Batman actor stumbling and behaving like a disoriented person just outside a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles recently.

Paparazzi caught the actor's behavior in a video as he came out of a Buddhist center with two women over the weekend, thus sparkling rumors of a relapse. It's unclear if these women were his sober coaches but the place he came from is a known rehab facility.

According to Us Weekly, Affleck remains committed to correcting his alcohol addiction. It's not so much as having a relapse as the actor has been steadily going to a treatment facility for months.

"Ben's main priorities have never wavered," the source told the publication. "He's focused on his family and spending time with Lindsay [Shookus]. Dealing with this disease is something he'll have to work on for the rest of his life and he remains focused on it."

Other sources also said that Affleck has been going to different treatment centers in both Los Angeles, where he resides, and New York, where his girlfriend lives. Paparazzi regularly sees him at these places and he's not hiding the fact that he's getting treatment.

Early this year, Affleck publicly acknowledged his substance abuse problems in a post on Facebook. He mentioned is ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as one of the people who supports him on this challenging journey.

For years, the actor struggled to maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle. His battle with alcohol addiction became a serious issue as early as 2001. He sought for help and support from his family.

Garner and Affleck's brother, Casey, helped him get into treatment centers. The actor also reportedly hired a sober coach to accompany him when he's at work. While promoting "Justice League," Affleck's sober coach was with him when he did the press rounds. Friends said Affleck has been doing better since committing to the treatments.
