Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner News: Still No Reconciliation Between Ex-Couple Despite Affectionate Sightings in Paris
Almost a year after announcing their separation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner continue to be role models for all separated couples as far as parenting is concerned. According to a source from People, the estranged couple was recently spotted at a restaurant in Paris along with their three kids: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
"At first they were alone and appeared to be affectionate, then were joined by the kids," said the source.
Despite the reported sightings of the estranged couple being lovey-dovey at Le Petit Marché restaurant in the Place des Vosges, though, sources close to the couple have maintained that reconciliation between the two is not in sight. According to insiders, nothing much has changed about the setup of the two, and everything is about prioritizing their parental duties to their kids.

A family friend of the couple told People that the trip to Paris really got the couple excited, although it is normal for both Affleck and Garner to go on family trips. Affleck is currently in London, where he is shooting his scenes for the upcoming DC and Warner Bros. movie "Justice League: Part 1." When he arrived in Paris Thursday last week, he immediately took his ex-wife and kids to the Amorino ice cream parlor.
It was reported last month that Affleck and Garner were planning to rent a house in London as Affleck shoots for "Justice League: Part 1." According to an Us Magazine source, the decision was part of the couple's desire to give their children normal parenting even if they are working away from home.
"Ben is filming 'Justice League,' and they always bring the kids to where they are when they are working. Ben did the same thing when she was filming in Atlanta," the insider told Us Weekly. "They take turns bringing the kids to where the other is on location and just renting a house while they are there."
Affleck and Garner announced they were ending their 10-year marriage in summer last year. It was initially believed that Affleck's reported affair with their kids' nanny caused the falling out of the marriage. However, in her Vanity Fair interview earlier this year, Garner cleared the air by saying that she and Affleck had already called it quits before she heard of the story about Affleck and the nanny.
Despite their separation, though, the couple is yet to file for divorce and continues to live under the same roof.
