Best Spots to Watch Fourth of July Fireworks in NYC
Millions of people are expected to turn out for the Fourth of July fireworks show in New York City, the biggest fireworks display in the nation.
The 35th Annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks show will be held live on the Hudson River in New York City on July 4 at 9pm EST. The show will be broadcasted on NBC.
The best viewing spots for the fireworks show will be along the West Side of Manhattan, where spectators can catch the best experience.
For the top locations to view the show, Macy's recommends heading to 12th Avenue below 59th Street at the following access points along 11th Avenue.

40th-44th Streets
47th-52nd Streets
54th-57th Streets
The following are not viewing areas: East River, Battery Park, Battery Park City, All Hudson River Piers (except limited access to Piers 54 and 84), Hudson River Park promenade between West Houston and 59th Street and Hudson River Park Bike Path between West Houston and 59th Street.
Driving a car to the show is not recommended since traffic will be closed from 59th Street to 22nd Street on 12th Avenue.
Macy's recommends taking public transportation, including buses and subways.
