Bethany Joy Galeotti Announces Divorce, Name Change
'One Tree Hill' Actress Expresses Gratitude to God
Star of the CW's "One Tree Hill" Bethany Joy Galeotti, took to her blog this week to announce that she is divorcing from her musician husband Michael Galeotti, and planning on changing her name back to Bethany Joy Lenz.
"I'm sorry to say that Michael and I have decided to divorce. We remain friendly and dedicated to raising our beautiful girl," the 30-year-old actress/singer wrote on her blog Monday.
The actress went on to say that she is "very private about [her] personal life."

"The only reason I'm saying anything about this at all is because you'll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me 'Bethany Joy Lenz' again," she added.
The couple was married in Dec. 2005 and has one daughter, Maria Rose Galeotti, who was born in last February. Michael Galeotti is a member of the band "Enation."
Galeotti also expressed faith in God in her Monday blog post.
"I feel immensely humbled and grateful that God works all things for the good of those who love Him," she wrote.
Galeotti's marriage isn't the only thing ending in her life. The show "One Tree Hill," which has remained on air for nine seasons, will wrap-up airing with a two-hour series finale on April 4.
Galeotti is recognized predominately for her role as Haley James Scott "One Tree Hill," as well as her music career as a member of the band "Everly."
