Bethenny Frankel 'Stunned' Alex McCord Rejected $400 Talk Show Offer? (VIDEO)

Bethenny Frankel reportedly approached her former "Real Housewives of New York" costars, Alex McCord and Jill Zarin, to appear on her daytime talk show however both are said to have declined the offers.

Sources claim that a booker for Frankel's talk show contacted both McCord, 40, and Zarin, 49, to "explore the possibility of Jill and Alex appearing as part of a reunion from the 'Real Housewives of New York City' Season 1 or 2," however they were not interested, according to RadarOnline.com.

"Bethenny is feeling pressure from network executives because ratings from her talk show have been less than stellar," a source told Radar. "Both ladies turned down the invitation to appear on the talk show."

The Skinny Girl entrepreneur was often seen clashing with McCord and Zarin on the hit Bravo reality TV show, and a source claims that despite this she was shocked that they both rejected the offers.

"She didn't want to invite Jill and Alex to come on, but she really needs a ratings boost, and thought having them come on would generate a ton of publicity," the source said.

"Bethenny was stunned that they both said no, she really thought they would agree to come on the show. Bethenny's bosses suggested she call Jill and Alex personally, but she absolutely refused.," the source continued.

On Thursday reports claimed McCord, a successful author and designer, was offered $400 to appear on Frankel's show. While the mother of two confirmed that the offer she received was in fact "laughable," she did not specify any details.

"I said, 'Show me the money.' Her offer was laughable. It was less than union scale. I would make more money sending one fashion tweet," McCord said in an online video.

"Also, I am savvy enough to know that unless the show is live, that any promotion I do of my products… will all end up on her cutting room floor," she continued. "So why do it? If there is ever a New York City Housewives reunion, it should be on a grand set, with a big budget, the talent should be paid, it should be beautiful."

Despite the incident McCord insisted that there are no hard feelings towards Frankel.

"Don't get me wrong, I am not mad at Bethenny I wish her the best and I hope she gets everything she wants. The thing is, if she wants me she's got to make it worth my while," she explained.
