The cast and crew of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 are back in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A photo posted on the show's official Twitter account featuring the cast confirms that the filming for the new season is already underway.

Credit for the picture was given to Patrick Fabian, Howard Hamlin in the series, who captioned the picture about being back in Albuquerque. Hamlin also took time to entertain some questions from fans and when he was asked when the "Better Call Saul" Season 3 premiere will be, he answered that it will be sometime in the spring.

Even if there has been no announcement yet regarding when "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will premiere, it seems enough for the fans for the time being to know that production is underway. Among the members of the cast seen in the picture are Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seahorn and Jonathan Banks
Most anticipated events in the new season
Fans have correctly guessed Gus Fring's (Giancarlo Esposito) appearance. However, he will not be shown in the early episodes of " Better Call Saul" Season 3. Aside from this anticipated special guest star, fans also are waiting for the transition of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) to Saul Goodman that is said to happen in the new season.
Much of the change in Jimmy will be brought about by his relationship with his brother Chuck McGill (Michael McKean) according to "Better Call Saul" spoilers. Last season, Chuck has come to resent Jimmy so much that he betrayed him in the worst possible way.
Chuck has a heart and soul
McKean talked about his character in an interview about "Better Call Saul" Season 3. According to him, it's not that Chuck doesn't have a heart but he had to excise something inside of him. The actor added that his character associated Jimmy's presence with the absence of good in his life.
Chuck became obsessed with thinking about Jimmy that he started to lose touch with other things. McKean teased that he cannot give away anything much because he is not told what happens next to his character in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Just like everybody, the cast is being kept in the dark what will be happening next in the series.
Aftermath of the betrayal
The "Better Call Saul" Season 3 premiere will most likely pick up immediately after the shocking finale of last season. Smart as Jimmy is, he probably will still be reeling from what his brother has done to him. He admitted to Chuck about forging the Mesa Verde documents and without him knowing, the sly Chuck recorded his confession.
It is not yet known what Chuck will do with the taped confession and his next action now that he holds his brother's entire being in his hands. What is sure though is that it will further push Jimmy to the edge and make the transformation that the fans have long been waiting for happen in "Better Call Saul" Season 3.
