Beyonce Accused of Selling Sex to Kids

Beyonce may be a popular singer, but she sells sex to pre-teenagers, according to comedian and feminist Lily Tomlin.

Tomlin, 74, recently spoke to PrideSource about fellow self proclaimed feminist Beyonce. However, she did not speak much about the singer's contribution to further womanhood.

Instead, she spoke about the singer's overtly sexual image.

"She is a pretty popular woman and she's married to a very powerful man, but she's still selling sex," Tomlin told the publication. "She's selling a lot of sex to teeny-boppers."

While the comedian insisted she had no issue with Beyonce, she explained her perspective further.

"I like her! I don't dislike her! But I don't pay any attention to that because- I mean, she's fantastically beautiful and dances, but, you know, it's very suggestive," Tomlin said. "If I was a 10-year-old, I would try to emulate her like most 10-year-olds do."

While she is admittedly unfamiliar with Beyonce's music, she blamed the singer's image on the present culture.

"I'm familiar with her image and how incredibly vivacious and sexual she is to watch, so I just chalk it up to the culture," Tomlin said.

Rudy Rasmus, Beyonce's pastor, recently defended her against Christian critics. Rasmus, the leader of St. John's United Methodist Church in Houston, is a friend to both Beyonce and her husband Jay Z.

However, he defended the singer's image and music content that has been criticized for its hyper sexuality.

"Beyonce is a consummate entertainer, and an entertainer entertains. Is the entertainer's entertainment an expression of that person's life and reality," he questioned in a report by The Grio. "I don't know. But I know when Arnold Schwarzenegger straps on a 30 caliber cannon and blows planes out of the sky, nobody asks the question, 'Arnold why are you walking around for those 90 minutes in that suit with that 30 caliber cannon? What kind of person are you?' I don't think I've heard that question."

He concluded his point by stating, "at the end of the day, Arnold Schwarzenegger is an entertainer."
