Beyonce and Nicki Minaj New Song 'Flawless' Raps About Solange Elevator Incident
Beyonce is speaking out about the infamous elevator fight that took place between her sister and husband earlier this year in the form of her "Flawless" remix.
In the remix, the 32-year-old singer raps alongside hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj. While many are used to her singing voice, Beyonce's auto-tuned rhymes bring bold lyrics to the song and address a big topic in pop culture this year.
"We escalate, up in this b---- like elevators, Of course sometimes s--- go down when it's a billion dollars on an elevator," Beyonce rhymes before repeating, "Of course sometimes s--- go down when it's a billion dollars on an elevator."

Solange, the 28-year-old singer and sister of fellow songstress Beyonce, was physically attacking her brother-in-law Shawn "Jay Z" Carter while exiting the Met Gala that was held in New York City's The Standard Hotel. After the May 5 altercation made national headlines when TMZ posted the audio-free video, the family released a joint statement insisting that they have moved past it.
As the August cover girl of Lucky magazine, Solange was questioned about it. While she wouldn't detail the cause of the incident, she did say she was at peace with it.
"What's important is that my family and I are all good," Solange told Lucky magazine. "What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."
The collective statement made by the family called the incident unfortunate.
"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the statement made to the Associated Press last May. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred."
According to the family, both Jay Z and Solange made up with each other.
"They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public," the family said. "They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
