One-year-old Blue Ivy, who was dressed in adorable baby swimwear, happily watched on as her famous parents took a splash. Beyonce's brief vacation with Jay Z, 43, enabled the "Grown Woman" singer to take a short break from her Mrs. Carter World Tour which began in April and wraps up in December.

"It's really interesting because I'm touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career," Beyonce told reporters before her Brazil show on Sunday according to Daily Mail UK.

"I think it's the one thing that women struggle with because it's so difficult," she continued "But when I'm able to travel it makes me so proud that she's able to experience all these different cultures and meet all of these interesting people at such a young age."

The Grammy award-winning artist was photographed bonding with baby Blue throughout her birthday vacation with Jay Z. She previously opened up about her journey into motherhood in an interview with Vogue magazine.

"She's my road dog, She's my homey, my best friend," Beyonce said of her and Jay Z's only child Blue Ivy.
"I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more. Family has always been important. I've always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it's just ... Life is so much more than ... It's not defined by any of this," she explained.

Jay Z also spoke about becoming a first time father in a July interview with New York radio station Power 105.1.

"I hope I'm great, but I'm learning. It's a new thing for me," the hip-hop mogul told the Breakfast Club.

"[Fatherhood] has changed me in a way that ... just knowing what's important ... but I had a pretty good sense of that. It just reaffirmed all things that I believed I knew," he continued, adding, "It's hard man, it's difficult."
