Beyonce Met Ball Dress Wows Fashion World (PHOTO)
Beyonce Knowles stunned onlookers at the Met Ball in New York city on Monday night when she arrived in a revealing Givenchy Haute Couture gown, and the singer fueled speculation that she and husband Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter have begun preparing for their second child.
The new mother received widespread applause for her risqué and theatrical dress, which was made of lace and mesh and featured a purple feathered train similar to that of a wedding dress. She couldn't help but dote over her 4-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, according to E! Online.
"I have such a full life. I feel like now I know the reason that I was born," Beyonce told E!.

The 31-year-old said that her daughter was at home with her grandmother Tina Knowles and Jay-Z before revealing that she does have plans to expand her family.
"I definitely want to have more [children]! I don't know how many. God knows I don't know yet," she added.
Last month it was reported that Beyonce and Jay-Z decided that they were ready to have a second child while celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary on April 4, according to Star Magazine.
"They see no reason to wait. It took them a while to conceive Blue Ivy, so they don't want to waste another second," a source told Star.
The "Single Ladies" singer showed no signs of a new baby bump while posing on the red carpet in her sheer sequin gown, which revealed a nude bodysuit underneath.
At one point Beyonce was photographed on the arm of Vogue legend Andre Leon Talley, which some fahionistas perceived to be the fashion nod of approval for her unique dress.
The singer's celebrity friends and fans flocked to social networking site Twitter, where she was praised as "best dressed" star of the evening.
"Beyonce looked incredible," Russell Simmons tweeted.
"@Beyonce wore the best dress at Met Gala 2012!" Carl Joshua Desales tweeted.
