Beyonce Showcases Justin Bieber Mugshot, Fans React
Beyonce and Jay Z featured fellow performer Justin Bieber's mugshot as part of their "On The Run" tour recently, causing fans of the latter to speak up.
Bieber, the 20-year-old Canadian singer was arrested last January in Miami on suspicion of DUI after being caught drag racing. While on their joint tour that opened up in Miami last week, Jay Z, 44, and Beyonce, 32, included Bieber in a video montage of mugshots.
Although Bieber was included with the likes of famous entertainers Tupac, P Diddy, 50 Cent, Robert Downey Jr, Russell Brand and Jay Z, the Daily Mirror is reporting that Beyonce had something to say when the Canadian singer's face flashed across the big screen.
"Even the greatest can fall," Beyonce reportedly said at the concert.
The move made a number of Bieber's fans and critics comment.
"Beyonce, I love and respect u, but idk why u think it's straight to honor Justin Bieber and 2pac in the same performance at a concert," one person tweeted.
Another person claimed to dislike Bieber but understood Beyonce and Jay Z's actions.
"As much as I dislike Justin bieber I can see why Beyonce captioned him 'the greatest,'" the person tweeted. "Whether we like it or not he's accomplished so much."
Yet another person saw Beyonce's reported comment as validation of Bieber's talent.
"Next time when someone say, 'justin bieber is untalented' i'll be like, 'sorry but even beyonce says that justin is the greatest,'" the person commented.
Aside from the arrest Bieber has endured his fair share of public scrutiny after he was accused of assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto, accused of egging his neighbor's home and pictured performing questionable acts with strippers earlier this year. Aside from his legal woes, Bieber has been accused of racism.
After two tapes were released by TMZ where Bieber was caught using the n-word, the star let a Christian devotional do the talking for him. Bieber took a page from the daily devotional "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young that seemed to apply to his circumstances.
"When your sins weigh heavily upon you, come to Me. Confess your wrongdoing, which I know all about before you say a word," the page re-posted by Bieber reads. "Stay in the Light of My Presence, receiving forgiveness, cleansing, and healing. Remember that I have clothed you in My righteousness, so nothing can separate you from Me. Whenever you stumble or fall, I am there to help you up."
