Beyonce's Fans Create Petition Pleading For Singer To Skip Kim Kardashian Wedding
Beyonce should not attend Kim Kardshian's wedding, according to some of the singer's fans who have created and signed a petition calling for the former not to be present for the ceremony.
Kardashian, the 33-year-old reality television star, recently got engaged to rap mogul Kanye West. While West's good friend and longtime collaborator music mogul Jay-Z is married to well-known singer Beyonce, some of the 32-year-old singer's fans believe that she should not be attending the future ceremony.
After calling Kardashian "trash" for achieving her level of fame through an explicit video that propelled her career, the change.org petition titled "BEYONCE CANNOT ATTEND KIM KARDASHIAN'S WEDDING,:" also provided the singer with excuses she could use to miss the ceremony like meeting with President Barack Obama.
After her fans known as the "Beyhive" generated over 250 signatures, a number of people took to Twitter to speak out against the petition.
"Come on y'all! This ain't fair or right! #BeyHive," one person tweeted.
Others called the petition "hilarious."
While rumors have circulated about Beyonce not getting along with Kardashian over the years, the singer has put them to rest by taking to her Tumblr account to congratulate the latter who had her first child with West last June. The reality television star previously opened up about her relationship with Beyonce during an appearance on Shade 45's radio show "Sway In The Morning" earlier this year.
"(She's) one of the most sweetest people I've ever met. She's so sweet, I have no idea where these things come from," Kardashian said of her alleged feud with Beyonce that were fueled in a number of media reports. "I think (people) just like to make up these feuds (because) it's more interesting. We've never even talked about it."
Kardashian said she never felt the need to address Beyonce about the matter because the 32-year-old singer endures a life full of false media reports.
"It doesn't even come up in conversation, probably because they get so many ridiculous
stories brought to them everyday of things that are true and not true. And vice versa," Kardashian told radio host Sway. "Things come at us everyday I don't think we'd sit down and be like 'ok did you hear this story about us, is this true?'"
