Beyonce's Father Matthew Knowles Hit With Paternity Suit From New Woman
Matthew Knowles, the father and former manager of Beyoncé Knowles, is the reported defendant in a new paternity suit filed against him that has gone public.
TaQoya Branscomb, the 30-year-old Branscomb lingerie model-turned-real estate agent, has come forth claiming Matthew got her pregnant in 2010, according to Buzzfeed. Now, TMZ is claiming that Branscomb wants a DNA test, a declaration of paternity and child support according to documents that she filed in the state of Texas.
This is the second woman to come forth claiming that she has a child with Matthew outside of his now defunct marriage to Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles. While Matthew was married to Beyoncé's mother Tina, he allegedly had an extramarital affair that with a woman named Alexsandra Wright, which resulted in their 3-year-old son named Nixon.

Tina filed for divorce in 2010 because of the affair that resulted in pregnancy. Alexsandra's brother Jonathan Wright previously told Radar Online that Matthew owed $24,000 in child support and refused to meet his son last year. However, TMZ reported that Matthew was ordered to pay $12,000 in child support per month before having that reduced to under $3,000 once he was fired as Beyonce's manager.
"I find it kind of odd that somebody that's proven as somebody's biological father has never ever seen their son," Jonathan told Radar Online last year. "And when they're a wealthy individual, it's odd that they would be a deadbeat dad."
However, Matthew's representatives spoke out against the claims.
"There have been several media reports [this week] suggesting that Mr. Knowles has a delinquency concerning his child support obligation to Ms. Alexsandra Wright," Mathew's spokesman Ken Harris told S2S magazine last year. "At this point, Mr. Knowles' financial advisers indicate that he is current concerning that obligation.
The outcome of this new paternity suit has yet to be determined.
