When asked how he stored “classified materials” that he “wanted to hang on to for a little bit,” Biden responded by suggesting that Hur was talking about “binders that were for the Presidential Daily Brief.” The president elaborated on what the presidential daily briefs consisted of.
“I’d sit with my national security team, and say we should follow up on this, find out more about whether or not, you know, who killed Cock Robin, you know, and find out,” he added. As explained by the nursery rhyme repository All Nursery Rhymes, “'Who Killed Cock Robin' is an old English nursery rhyme and poem dating back to the 18th century” that was “first recorded in ‘Tommy Thumb’s Pretty Song Book’ in 1774.” The nursery rhyme extends for 56 lines.
