'Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Rumors: Raj to Get a Shot at True Love?

"Raj-Ily" fans are getting crazy on social media as it was confirmed that Laura Spencer, who plays the role of Emily, will be promoted to a series regular, following the warm response from "Big Bang" fans when she was linked to Raj (Kunal Nayyar) in some of the previous episodes.

Fans have always wanted for Rajesh to get a chance for true love, and with the confirmation that Emily will now be a regular. Although there is no news from the production as to whether Raj and Emily will become a regular couple, fans have already speculated that there will now be a "Raj-Ily" that could probably top "Shamy."

According to TV Line, Spencer won't be in all of the episodes as she will be a character that will appear in an "as needed basis." However, she will surely be around when fans need to see a lovelorn Raj in despair for some love.

Meanwhile, a new report has gotten "Big Bang" fans all the more excited and looking forward to the fourth episode in the season as it is said that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) will leave Sheldon (Jim Parsons) pouting after he marries Penny (Kaley Cuoco).

While it should be clear that Penny and Leonard should be living together as a married couple, Sheldon obviously doesn't take the news easily and tries to get Amy (Mayim Bialik) to be his flat mate — the request immediately slammed by her former flame.

According to The International Business Times, with Sheldon depressed and all alone, Penny offers to take him in, and while Leonard, of course, doesn't like the idea of once again being locked in with his best friend, Penny says, "Just think of him as our dog."

Fans will just have to keep watching "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 to find out if Raj and Emily will become a true couple this time and if Sheldon's moving in with Penny and Leonard be a good idea as Penny suggests.
