'Big Brother' 15 Cast Reels From New Head of Household's Nominees (Spoilers)
Last week, Helen and Amanda were successful in evicting Howard from the house, causing resentment and hurt feelings with several members of the house. Now there's a new Head of Household who has plans to continue turning the house upside down.
The contestants, except for Aaryn, all played in the Head of Household competition, which was an endurance competition. Candice knew that she was a target, given that she was on the block last week and did not have a good relationship with Aaryn and almost burned a bridge with Helen.
In the Big Brother house, anything can happen, and the Helen-Aaryn alliance has been one of the surprising twists of the season. The two initially did not care for one another, and Aaryn has been heard making racially insensitive comments about Helen. Yet it's clear that Helen has a lot of power in the house and can manipulate others into doing what she wants.
Spencer and Candice were the first two houseguests to fail the challenge, and Helen soon joined them. One-by-one the houseguests continued to drop, leaving Jesse, GinaMarie, and McCrae to battle it out. Once Jesse dropped, GinaMarie promised that McCrae and Amanda would be absolutely safe if she was to win Head of Household. McCrae promised GinaMarie she would be safe as well, and neither was willing to give up the possibility of being HOH.
Finally, McCrae fell off the barrel, and GinaMarie was named the Head of Household. Helen immediately began strategizing since she and GinaMarie had not worked together before and she knew she needed to be an influence if she wanted to stay in the house. Of course, GinaMarie's best friend, Aaryn, was absolutely thrilled to have influence over the nominations.
GinaMarie made it clear from the beginning that Candice was her target because she had constantly picked on Aaryn. At the nomination ceremony, GinaMarie made the decision to put Candice and Jessie up for eviction. She called Candice a "rat" and Jessie a "flip-flopper," which made for an incredibly awkward nomination ceremony. America is once again MVP and viewers, along with the houseguests, will find out who the third nominee is on Wednesday.
"Big Brother" airs Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights on CBS.
