'Big Brother' 16 Spoilers: House Stunned by Power of Veto Competition Results
During last night's "Big Brother," things changed dramatically in the house after the Power of Veto competition. Cody may have blood on his hands after making a game-altering decision and putting someone completely unexpected on the block.
Cody has been battling Caleb over his relationship with Amber, even though Amber wants nothing to do with Caleb. His jealously over Cody and Amber's friendship has caused a great rift between the two men, and Cody was seemingly prepared to get Caleb out of the house before Caleb could get him out of the house.
During the Power of Veto competition, there were severe penalties for those who lost and even bigger rewards for those who won. In the end, Victoria had the Power of Veto, but Caleb won the game and had the opportunity to take it away from her, thus ensuring that she would be going home and remain on the block. Remember that Brittany and Victoria are both on the block; Brittany wound up with a punishment, while Victoria took the Power of Veto.
Caleb decided to take $5,000 instead of the Power of Veto, angering Cody even more. He also angered other members of the Detonators alliance by not sticking with the plan and forcing Cody to put someone else on the block. Cody went back and forth between putting Caleb on the block or putting someone else up as a pawn in order to get Brittany evicted.
Cody spoke with Donny about going up on the block as a pawn but promised him that he was completely safe and would not go on the block. Cody admitted that Caleb was his true target because he posed a huge threat to himself. Others in the alliance, though, tried to convince Cody that it was better for his game if he put Donny on the block and got Brittany out of the house.
In the end, Cody went back on his word and put Donny on the block against Brittany. Donny was stunned and questioned whether other people in the house had Donny's ear. Now it all comes down to Brittany and Donny trying to save themselves from eviction.
"Big Brother" airs Thursday, Sunday, and Wednesday nights on CBS.
