'Big Brother 18' News, Spoilers and Updates: Natalie Evicted; Corey Nominates Paul and Victor; Nicole 'Faking' Footage?
The chips have fallen for "Big Brother 18" houseguest Natalie Negrotti as she got evicted from the house in a 3-0 vote, leaving James Huling, Victor Arroyo, Paul Abrahamian, Corey Brooks and Nicole Franzel in the Final Five. At the final stretches of the BB18 race, alliances flip once more as Corey put up bromance allies Victor and Paul on the block this week.
What went down
Natalie and James were up for eviction in Week 11, which led to a series of disasters for the showmance. James started to wonder about Natalie's sincerity for him, while Natalie campaigned to save herself despite assuring James that she supports him no matter what.
To make matters worse, a heckler with a bullhorn screamed at the BB18 backyard that James and Nicole had a pre-game alliance, totalling their relationship. The two had broken up right before eviction night, though they'd assured each other that they will always be friends and that Natalie will root for him in the Jury.
Natalie had a hunch that she was the target for eviction, and she was right. Victor originally wanted James out, but the Nicorey-VicPaul alliance realized it would be better for them to keep James in the running. Natalie was then voted out unanimously from the BB18 house.
In an interview with Julia Chen, the former BB18 houseguest revealed that she has no hard feelings against James and that she'd even respect his decision should he decide to take Nicole to the Final Two. She contemplated Paul and Victor as being the best players in the house, and confessed she never trusted Corey and Nicole.
Nicorey: Shifting alliances, faking conversations
As for Corey and Nicole, the two had yet again changed loyalty. Corey won Head of Household this week and put up allies Victor and Paul for BB18 Week 13 eviction. Nicole felt pretty torn up about it, though, and engaged him in a pretty lengthy discussion as to why James should stay over them.
Corey explained that it would be better for them to have a weak competitor for the Final Two instead of two strong allies. He got visibly frustrated and confused at the looping conversation and asked why Nicole "wasn't getting it." Surprisingly, Nicole said nonchalantly, "I'm just giving them (production) footage."
Apparently, the girl has been faking conversations for production, so they can cherrypick choice words and conversations. It just goes to show how slanted reality TV shows can be, even one as veteran as the CBS series.
