'Big Brother' season 17 spoilers: James wins the Veto; who will be evicted in the double elimination?

In the upcoming episode of "Big Brother" that will air on Wednesday, Sept. 2, fans will get to see the highly anticipated Veto competition and the Veto ceremony that will change the course of the competition. And then on Thursday September 3, it's the live double eviction as two houseguests get sent to the jury house. Who will be sent packing?

According to the live feeds, the Veto competition involved a game of Hide and Seek and that James won the power of Veto that he used to take himself off the block during the Veto ceremony, and as the Head of Household, Vanessa named Julia as the replacement nominee.

However, it seems that Julia may not be a pawn after all and that she is the actual target that will be sent out. The live feeds clearly showed Vanessa's dilemma when James won the power of Veto since she has to name a replacement. Austin and the twins, Liz and Julia, as well as Johnny Mac and Steve, did not want to go up as pawn. But the live feeds showed Julia talking to Steve as she offered to go up as a pawn instead of him, in an effort to prove her loyalty to the scamper squad alliance.

In the last episode that aired on Thursday, Johnny Mac was sent packing over Steve but had a chance to fight his way back in the game as the jurors, Shelli, Jackie, and Becky, all joined the houseguests in the Head of Household Competition. The HOH Competition was a game of endurance in which they had to stay on a silver disk as a giant hand slaps them around, making them dizzy.

In the episode that aired last Sunday, the HOH competition was still underway as slowly one by one people fell. Johnny Mac won his place back in the competition as he and Vanessa were the final two left standing. Vanessa won HOH since Johnny Mac slipped off the disk. Austin and the twins were livid that Johnny Mac returned to the house as they feared that he would go after them since they were the ones who sent him home and they wanted Vanessa to put him up on the block.

As it turns out, prior to the eviction, Vanessa and Johnny Mac made a deal about teaming up and forming an alliance in the event that he comes back. Vanessa also patched things up with Steve prior to the eviction night, thus creating a three-person alliance.

In the end, Vanessa put up a show romance of Meg and James on the block, despite the fact that Vanessa promised James immunity when he was HOH if ever she becomes HOH.

Big Brother airs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS.
