About the Foundation
The William J. Clinton Foundation is on a mission to "alleviate poverty, improve global health, strengthen economies, and protect the environment, by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and private citizens - leveraging their expertise, resources, and passions - to turn good intentions into measurable results," according to Clintonfoundation.org.

Some accomplishments of the foundation include: 1,950 Commitments to action, the distribution of HIV/AIDS medications to over 2.6 million people, and a healthy food program for 9,000 schools in America.

Another proud achievement of the William J. Clinton Foundation is what they call "10 in 10," otherwise known as 10 accomplishments in 10 years. These include: redefining philanthropy, better disaster recovery, The Clinton Presidential Center (an exhibit and lecture center), youth service opportunities, campaigns against childhood obesity, new business models concerning foreign industry help, poverty in Africa, promoting urban entrepreneurialism, climate actions, and lastly helping the AIDS epidemic.

One of the key components of the foundation is through donations. On a message to all those interested in donating on the foundation website, Clinton says "Everyone can do something to help improve the lives of others."

The foundation promotes: “Every dollar or hour spent will help us make a difference and improve the lives of more people around the world."
