Bill Wisth Protests Fish Fry After Eating 20 Pieces
Bill Wisth protests a fish fry because the restaurant- which promises customers an All-You-Can-Eat deal- refused to give him any more fish after he ate so many.
Bill Wisth's protest of the fish fry would be sparked last Friday, when the 6-foot-6, 350-pound man came to Chuck's Place in Theinsville, Wisconsin- a restaurant where he was a regular. After eating 12 pieces of fish, Wisth asked for more, but the restaurant initially said no, because they were running out.
"Well, we asked for more fish and they refused to give us any more fish," Wisth told TMJ4.

Chuck's Place claimed that Wisth had been a problem in the past; even though he previously had been unable to pay his bill numerous times and has an open tab at the eatery, the owner would still let him come back. This time as well, they relented, opting to send him his way with eight more expensive, smaller fish for free.
"They brought just this tiny little basket of six tiny real small fish … Jerry had four of the pieces and I had two," said Wisth refuting their claims. Still, he demanded more, calling the police, who refused to respond to his claim. He also refused to pay the bill.
Two days later, the Wisconsin man showed up with a picket sign.
"If the people that run the restaurant, they put up signs saying 'All-You-Can-Eat,' but then selectively not want to fulfill that promise, that's false advertising," he told local reporters.
Wisth says it's an issue of promises made on the restaurant, regardless of whether he's been a delinquent customer in the past.
"I think that people have to stand up for consumers," he said.
Elizabeth Roeming, a waitress at Chuck's place, seemed offended by the Wisth's protesting, especially because he has been a regular for years. She said he would probably do more good than harm, however.
"It's probably actually gonna help our business because people are actually going to support so you might wanna just stop," she told the local man outside the restaurant.
Even Wisth admits that the food there is good- locals have been supporting Chuck's Place increasingly since his protest began too.
"They do have like some of the best pizza in town if you like deep dish pizza," Wisth admitted.
The man paid the bill, eventually, and was banned from the restaurant indefinitely for his antics.
