Billy Graham Remains Hospitalized
Evangelist Billy Graham remains a patient at Mission Hospitals in Asheville, N.C., where he continues to undergo evaluation and treatment of injuries from a fall he suffered Friday at his home. He had been home recovering from a partial hip replacement performed in January at Mayo Clinic's St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.
Further CT studies on May 17 have confirmed Graham sustained a fracture of the pelvis and indicated it is more significant than originally suspected. On May 18, Graham was given additional diagnostic testing, and also met with his medical team to discuss the best course of treatment. He is currently listed in fair condition by the hospital. His physicians report that he is stable and resting comfortably under pain management.
Graham is scheduled to conduct two evangelistic crusades this summer, in Kansas City June 17-20, and in Los Angeles July 29-August 1.
