Bishop Paul S. Morton to Release Compilation Disc for Hurricane Relief
Renowned preacher and musician Bishop Paul S. Morton has announced that he will once again be putting his hand in to aid storm victims, this time with the release of a special compilation disc entitled On Broken Pieces.
As the victims of Hurricane Katrina continue to rebuild their lives, renowned preacher and musician Bishop Paul S. Morton has announced that he will once again be putting his hand in to aid storm victims, this time with the release of a special compilation disc entitled On Broken Pieces, which is set to hit stores on Apr. 18.
The CD features collaborations between Morton and a host of gospel industry greats including the Williams Brothers, the Mississippi Mass Choir, the Ingrams, Betty Wright and others, with 100 percent of the profits being donated to the relief effort.
A native of New Orleans, Morton, whos Greater Saint Stephens ministry lost its largest location in the storm, has helped raise nearly $2 million for relief efforts since Katrina hit last August. Morton was recently recognized for his efforts at BETs Celebration of Gospel, which aired on the network last Thursday.
