Black Friday 2011 Ads: Find Great Tech Deals on Apple Sale Specials

Black Friday sales make the holidays the prime time to purchase big-ticket items like computers, mobile phones and other big technology buys. Many holiday shoppers are looking to purchase Apple products. Sales on tech items by Apple are expected at many third-party retailers.

Specifically speaking, the most significant sales on Apple products will come from MacMall and Best Buy. However, tech review site Gottabemobile.com argues that the best deals will come in the form of gift cards that add up to better savings.

Best Buy usually bundles $100 to $150 gift cards with MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs. When compared with shopping on Apple.com, Best Buy offers shoppers $25 to $50 in savings.

As Black Friday approaches, MacMall has begun slashing price tags so shoppers do not always have to wait until the big day. The retailer's new stocks of MacBooks, MacBook Pros, Macbook Airs and Mac Minis have the potential to go on sale the week of Nov. 14. While the early released discounts are not as much as the ones on Black Friday, they allow a shopper to avoid waiting in long lines or having to stay up late or get up early which some argue is worth it despite the less impressive deals.

In addition to Apple computers, third party apple retailers are hosting holiday sales for other Apple products like the iPod Touch and iPod Nano. In years past, Best Buy and Amazon have competed for the best Black Friday iPod deals in addition to Walmart.

GottabeMobile.com predicts that 8GB iPod Nanos will come with a $15 gift card, 8GB iPod Touches will come with $25-$30 gift cards and 32GB iPod Touches will come with $50 gift cards. These deals can be taken advantage of between midnight and 3 a.m. online.

Last year, Apple's Black Friday deal in iPads included a $41 discount. It is likely that a similar deal with resurface. While this is a good discount, it is important to remember that prospective Apple buyers can purchase an iPad for $50 off anytime when they visit a store that sells refurbished Apple products.

Probably the most sought after Apple product this Black Friday is the iPhone 4S. But since the smartphone is so new, the probability for a good holiday discount is pretty low, according to experts.
