Black Friday 2011: Apple iPod Touch 5G Deals Could Hit $149 Sale Price (VIDEO)
Apple has decided to step ahead of Black Friday with an eagerly awaited announcement of the new Apple iPod Touch 5G.
Apple green-lighted the new iPod Touch 5th generation Monday, and has now surprised consumers by revealing a lower pricing plan.
The 8GB iPod Touch is now being offered with a $199 price tag instead of $229. In 2010, the best deal available for taking ownership of the 8GB iPod Touch 4G without a gift card on Black Friday was $199.
The new iPod has very little in the way of hardware changes in comparison to its previous offering. As a change, the new product will come with iOS 5, and is now available in white.
Considering that Apple did not offer much in the way of changes, some are speculating that the iPod Touch will be priced at an even lower rate, perhaps as low as $149, during Black Friday, perhaps even without a gift card.
Apple will look to increase its revenue stream tremendously over the holiday season and the thought among price watchers is that it will make the item almost irresistible to consumers.
