According to Kourtney Eidam and Karen Snyder Duke of Parents.com, the “Toddler Fantasy Castle Blocks” are a great gift for toddlers.

“Who says blocks have to be boring? Your kid can use the different shapes and patterns for endless building fun,” said Eidam and Snyder. “Bonus: The set is beautiful enough to display in your living room.”

Angry Bird gamers for iPhone can now watch children enjoy the same game. The “Angry Birds Knock on Wood Game,” for children 5-years-old and up is available for $17.

Christina Cheddar-Berk from CNBC.com said: “The object is to get revenge on the pigs for stealing the birds’ eggs by destroying the structures where the pigs are hiding. Mission cards tell you how to build the structure. Then you load the Angry Birds onto the launcher and fire away. Up to four players can join in the game.”

Yet another iPhone transplant, the “I Am T-Pain Mic” by Jakks Pacific allows kids to sing like the Hip-Hop artist T-Pain. With a $39.99 price tag, the auto-tune themed microphone features three original beats, 3 minutes of recording time and MP3 input.

For parents looking for a gift that’s is more attractive to an active and older child, the Nerf Vortex by Hasbro would be a more suitable stocking stuffer. Made for children ages 8-years-old and up, the play guns are a safe bet with its foam disks and accurate shooting distance. With a selection of four different models, prices will range from $14 to $50.
