Black Friday 2011 Deals on Tablets and E-Readers Available at Best Buy, Walmart
The day after Thanksgiving day promises the best-priced shopping spree of the year, as Black Friday 2011 is only four days away. And since tablet computers and e-readers are guaranteed to be of interest to many shoppers, The Christian Post prepared a wrap-up brief on which stores will offer some of the best deals on these devices.
Best Buy, the electronics giant, promises to slash prices on Dell Streak 7-inch Tablet with Android Honeycomb OS, although the exact price is yet to be announced. Apple iPad 2 tablets will be on sale too, but the terms are not yet known either. Alternatively, there is also the Toshiba Thrive 10.1-inch screen tablet for $279.99. Barnes & Noble's NOOK will be available for $79.99, as opposed to the usual $99.99.
Staples will host tablet sales starting at $199 on Nov. 25. One of the best Black Friday deals at Staples is also the Blackberry Playbook tablet for only $199. It has a 7-inch screen and 16GB of storage. More impressive is the regular price, which is $499, buyers save $300 in this excellent Black Friday tablet sale.
Target will offer Amazon Kindle 3G for $85 in the store’s special Black Friday offer.
Radio Shack offers the 7-inch Velocity Micro Cruz tablet for $99.99 and a range of tablet accessories, like the iHome accessory bundle for the iPad 2 for $19.99 and the iPad case for $9.99. Nook Color will be available for $199 with a $20 Radio Shack gift card attached.
Walmart will offer the Amazon Kindle Fire at $199 and the classic 6-inch Amazon Kindle for $79.
Staples will create it some competition offering identical prices on both, according to the store’s print ad. The 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook will be available at $199 and the store will also offer a less-known Acer Iconia Tab tablet for $299.
One of the most expected sales, the one at Kmart has a $99.99 Leader i7 tablet on the menu, together with Android-powered Velocity Cruz R102 eReader for $69.99.
Barnes and Noble Nook will be discounted at websites of Walmart and Overstock (Nook 3G and Nook wi-fi) for about $150, according to a Suite 101 article.
Office Depot will offer M-Edge cases discounts for anyone who buys a Kindle, Suite 101 reported.
