With people steadily preparing for the midnight sales and large shopping crowds that go with Black Friday, others are seeing the potential in online shopping couponing in providing a solution to being hit with high street shopping chaos.
Groupon, by far the largest online coupon site, has amassed over 100 million users since it came online in 2008. And retailers are looking for any way that can draw consumers into their stores this holiday season. But it is not just Groupon that offers daily deal specials. There are other online websites such as LivingSocial and KGB that all offers the similar kinds of deals consumers are looking for.
They way daily deal sites work is quite simple. They contract with business for specific services. They then provide a certain amount of discounted goods or “vouchers” for that day. Once online consumers purchase the total number of vouchers for a particular business there are no more deals for that day for that particular service or good.

It is wise and in good practice to visit the site often and during non-peak hours to have a better chance of getting the specials that you want for the day that you are considering going shopping. Doing this would allow you to see deals while other people are not online.
Businesses are looking for any way that they can not only get customers in their doors, they also for ways to keep them coming back during and after the holiday shopping season. This simply is done by slashing prices on nearly everything.

"A lot of people are spending more than the $20. I'm happy with the results. This is something to get people in the door." He said.
