Black Friday 2011: Walmart Unveils 'Super Saturday' - What Deals Are There?
Walmart will hold a pre-Black Friday special sale called “Super Saturday.” The event will kick off Saturday Nov. 5, at 11 a.m.
Walmart has already made its sale list available and consumers are expected to flock to the shop’s outlets across the country.
Black Friday, which falls on Nov. 25, is still a few weeks away, however, consumers will not have to wait to start to capitalize on the special deals available on the biggest shopping day of the year.
The retail giant has been using a number of strategies to hook consumer interest, including a Facebook campaign that will keep fans updated on special deals as Nov. 25 approaches.
Another big initiative Walmart has taken is the upcoming Super Saturday one-day shopping event, which will offer some special pre-Black Friday sale items and allow shoppers the opportunity to stock up and get a good portion of their holiday shopping done in advance.
Walmart is hoping thousands of shoppers will take advantage of the opportunity to avoid the stress and hassle of shopping on the busy Black Friday.
Walmart released a list of merchandise that will be available on Super Saturday that is split into two main sections – Electronics and Toys.
