'Black Friday' 2015 News: Walmart Offers Best Apple Deals, Amazon Slashes Prices on Various Items

The holidays are fast approaching, and with Black Friday just around the bend, shoppers will surely enjoy the discounts and best deals offered by some of the largest stores in the country.

Walmart has just started its "hot holiday rollbacks" on Sunday, and for the next eight weeks, the store will be slashing prices for the Apple-loving community. One of the best offers that shoppers should look forward to is the Apple iPad mini 2 (16 GB) getting a huge discount from the normal retail price of $269. The said device is now available for only $199.

BestBlackFriday.com says the offer, which saves consumers up to $70, is only available at Walmart and buyers won't see Apple giving such a huge discount at any time. The site also reminds the community that Apple Store won't really give out any discounts on the special holiday in the United States so buyers might as well drop by Walmart.

Co-founder of the outlet Phil Dengler also adds that while Apple does offer a few gift cards sometimes on various items, the best option to get an Apple product is to purchase in third-party stores. The reason behind is obvious: third-party retailers give bigger discounts than what the gift cards offer.

Meanwhile, Amazon has also kicked off the holiday deals with huge price cuts a month before Black Friday. On Monday, the store has announced that members with Prime subscription will get a 30-minute jumpstart on "lightning deals." Prime members will get several time-sensitive discounts until Dec. 22.

Among the items on sale is a 55-inch Sony 4K Ultra HD TV, which is now available for $998, almost 30 percent off the usual retail price. Another item with a whopping discount is an APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA 10-outlet unit that was originally priced at $310. It is now available for only $129.99.

Best Buy isn't taking the competition lightly as it also offers the iPad mini 3 for $324.99, with about $75 off the usual Apple price of $399.99.

Black Friday falls on Nov. 27.
