Black Friday Deals on Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS at Walmart and Best Buy

Walmart and Best Buy will have massive savings on Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo 3DS and Wii systems and games this Black Friday.

Walmart will offer slightly better deals on consoles and games, but Best Buy has a larger selection, so look at either retailer’s catalog and find the right store for the people on your list.

Here’s a breakdown of Best Buy and Walmart’s deals on systems and games this year.

XBOX 360

Walmart will sell the Xbox 360 4GB console with Kinect for $200. Best Buy has the same console without Kinect for $200. Both retailers will sell Kinect bundles for $100.

Walmart will sell most Xbox games in three price categories: $10, $15 and $28. For $10, shoppers can buy 007 Quantum of Solace, Bioshock, Sing It and others. For $15, get Call of Duty 4, Dance Central 2 and more. And For $28, get Madden NFL 2012, Call of Duty Black Ops, Battlefield 3 and more.

Best Buy will sell most Xbox games at $30. Games at this price include FIFA Soccer 2012, Gears of War 3, Call of Duty Black Ops, Madden 2012, and many more.

Best Buy may have more variety, but Walmart has better Xbox deals.

PS3

Best Buy will sell the Sony Playstation 3 160GB Console for $200 on Black Friday. Walmart, however, will also sell the PS3 for $200 and include the popular user-created game Little Big Planet.

Walmart also prices PS3 games in three categories. For $10, get Shrek Forever After, Yakusa 4 and Pure. For $15, get Little Big Planet, Call of Duty, God of War and more. For $28, get Madden 2012, Nascar 2011, Transformers Dark of the Moon and more.

Best Buy is outdone again by Walmart. Games that are $28 at Walmart, are $30 to $35 at Best Buy – like Madden, FIFA, L.A. Noire, and more.

Wii

The Wii deals aren’t fantastic for Black Friday. Only Walmart will offer a console at a discount – $100 for a limited edition blue console.

Walmart will sell games using four levels of pricing – like Bakugan ($10), Toy Story 3 ($15), Super Mario Galaxy ($20) and Michael Jackson The Experience ($28).

Best Buy will sell Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games for $40 and Cabela’s Big Game Hunter for $30, alongside other deals.

NINTENDO DS

Best Buy will sell the Nintendo 3DS system for $180 and will throw in either Super Mario Land 3D or Zelda for free. Walmart will sell a 3DS “value bundle” for $200, which includes a 3DS system and the game Ghost Recon.

“Bundling” is a clever way for retailers to avoid their own price-matching guarantees.

Best Buy will sell games for under $15, including Madden, The Sims 3, Rocketfish and more. Walmart will not have 3DS games on sale.
