Blake Lively Ring: Large Light Pink Diamond Created by Lorraine Schwartz (VIDEO)

Blake Lively showed off a hard-to-miss engagement ring this week during her first public appearance following her secret wedding to Ryan Reynolds.

Lively made an impressive first appearance, wearing an elegant silvery blue gown pleated with pink silk while attending the 80th Anniversary bash of Chanel Bijoux De Diamant in New York City.

Lively finished off her outfit with silvery, metallic shoes. But really complimenting Lively's dress was the enormous ring that adorned her finger. The ring was created by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, according to People magazine. It features a large center stone flanked by a band of smaller diamonds.

"Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond," a spokesperson for the jeweler said. "They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco."

Lively was also not afraid to tell reporters at the event that everything had turned out well.

"Life is great!" she exclaimed to reporters.

The "Green Lantern" co-stars were married at the beginning of September, but apparently chose to keep the ceremony as private as possible. The Martha Stewart magazine later promised a report in their December issue detailing the event.

"From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration," the Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine said this week.

Over the weekend the pair also attended the wedding ceremony of Amber Tamblyn and David Cross.

Tamblyn tied the knot to "Arrested Development" actor David Cross over the weekend in a rustic-themed celebration which took place outdoors. The setting was quintessential, with a flowing river in the back and trees tinged with red in preparation for fall. It was Tamblyn, however, who stole the show with her canary-colored dress that matched the sunflowers she held as her wedding bouquet.
