Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Are Having Kids? Couple Eager to Expand Family, Sources Say
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's two-year relationship could be heading for a serious commitment. A source revealed that the couple is thinking long and hard about having kids.
Stefani, 48, has three other children with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Shelton, 41, treat his girlfriend's sons like his own but he's also realizing he wants his own kids with Stefani, and she's allegedly not opposed to giving him his first child or expanding their family.
"They are very committed to one another and this is a forever thing," according to the insider who is close to Shelton. "However, more important to them right now is having a baby together."
The couple recently spent time out in the country in Oklahoma with both their families. Shelton revealed that moments like this, when they are surrounded by kids, their parents and siblings, are a lot of fun and it's why the country singer wants to expand his.
"I'm talking about 30-plus family members from her side, from my side," Shelton said. "I don't think you should be able to have that much fun," he joked, adding, "It's probably not legal."
Shelton and Stefani met on "The Voice" and she's been a coach on the show three times. Fans have been wondering if "The Holler Back" singer will return for a fourth chance at winning the competition series.
Unfortunately, "The Voice" season 14, which will begin its run in March, already picked its complete set of coaches. Joining Shelton in the new season are Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and first-time coach Kelly Clarkson. It remains to be seen if Stefani will return at some point since NBC has not yet renewed "The Voice" for season 15 and beyond.
Meanwhile, with or without "The Voice," the couple will continue to grow both in their relationship and work. Stefani recently released her Christmas album, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas," which she produced in collaboration with her boyfriend.
