Blake Shelton: Miranda Lambert 'is My Life'

Blake Shelton is shutting down the rumor mill once and for all when it comes to his marriage to Miranda Lambert this week.

The country music super stars dated for four years before marrying in 2011. However, Lambert and Shelton's marriage has become the subject of tabloid fodder with headlines suggesting cheating, divorce and worse over the past few years. Now, Shelton is opening up about his wife while gushing about their happy and strong marriage.

"I would like to take this opportunity to clear the air," Shelton began while speaking to "The Voice" host Carson Daly while on "The Today Show" this week.

"You may pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that'll say something about, you know, my relationship with Miranda and it's in turmoil and divorce," the singer continued. "The truth is I've never felt a stronger bond with, not only with her, but with any other human being in my life. I mean Miranda and I have ... she's my life."

It was not the first time Shelton had spoken out against the rumors of cheating and imminent divorce. Last year, the "It Aint Easy Bein' Me" singer explained he and his wife keep the line of communication open between them.

"[I tell Miranda], 'I have nothing to hide from you,'" Shelton told People magazine. "That's been our policy: 'Here's my phone. Go through it.'"

The singer added that Lambert has open access to his phone, computer or any other personal item.

"And that's been a really good thing, because I don't want her to ever have any doubts," Shelton noted.

As for the endless headlines suggesting his marriage is on the rocks, "The Voice" star laughs it off because it proves his relevancy.

"I honestly do love it, I just know, to have that kind of coverage, if I'm popular enough they want to put me and Miranda on that stuff, that's awesome," he said. "I have an album coming out! Put my album right next to it and pick it up."

Meanwhile, Shelton is a coach alongside Usher, Adam Levine and Shakira on "The Voice" which airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
