Born blind and diagnosed with autism, Christopher Duffley continues to show that God's blessings overcome any challenges. We last saw him singing "Open the Eyes of My Heart" at a church conference in New Hampshire.
In this video, the 12-year-old leads World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn. in "I Can Only Imagine," the hit song by MercyMe that envisions eternity in heaven. The lyrics of perfect renewal seem to carry a new heft when Christopher sings them.
As the song reaches its climax, the pitch rises and Christopher climbs to meet it. In turn, the audience rises to their feet in praise and appreciation. You might, too.
