'Blindspot' Episode 2 Spoilers: Jane and Weller Take the Heat

"Blindspot" is expected to air Monday with Episode 2, and Jane and Agent Weller will be getting more close calls.

As Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) slowly pieces her memories together based on the tattoos on her body and she and her handler, Agent Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), emerge from the pilot episode's massive explosion, both of them will be placed on the hot seat when Episode 2, "A Stray Howl" premieres on Monday.

In Episode 2, a suicidal Air Force pilot with a sinister plan will be discovered, thanks to one of the amnesiac's many tattoos. Continuing to recall various memories buried in her subconscious, Jane is still puzzling out the mystery of who she really is and Weller may have some idea of her identity.

Based on stills from the show's website, it appears Jane will be handling guns, with Weller showing her the defense position as the two embark on training together. Jane's surprises her handler by defeating him and later on, she learns that another of her confusing tattoos points toward a rogue fighter pilot.

Weller continues to learn more about the tattooed woman who has been left inside a bag in Times Square during the pilot episode, harboring no memory of who she is and where she comes from.

In "A Stray Howl," audiences will see Jane and Weller in the aftermath of the huge explosion from the previous episode, where Jane has a flashback of a shadowy figure (Johnny Whitworth) who may have been responsible for deleting her memory.

Jane may or may not disclose what she remembers, while Weller tries to find out what it was the bomb in the subway was meant for. In the meantime, he owes his life to Jane for saving him at Liberty Island, but is suspicious Jane herself may have planted the bomb just before her memories were erased.

It also looks like Episode 2 will see both Jane and Weller continuing to face the line of fire in increasingly dangerous situations as Jane's past and tattoos point them towards uncovering more clues.

"Blindspot" Episode 2 airs on NBC on September 28 at 10pm ET/PT.
