'Blindspot' Episode 5 Spoilers and Episode 4 Recap: Jane and Weller Take on the CDC
On the next episode of "Blindspot" entitled "Split the Law," the official synopsis reads, "A hostage situation goes bad and causes strife between the CIA and FBI. Meanwhile, Carter clashes with Mayfair when he reveals that he's skeptical about Jane's loyalties; and Jane meets Weller's family, but the situation proves to be difficult for her."
In a promo for the episode, it seems that Weller and Jane have stumbled on a CIA conspiracy that Mayfair seems to be a part of. The CIA is trying to bury the evidence and keep their secret dealings a secret. This will cause tension between the FBI and the CIA as someone attempts to kill Jane.
In some photos for the episode, it shows that Weller will invite Jane for dinner in order for her to meet his family, but the dinner will become awkward as Jane says something that does not sit well with Weller. Meanwhile, Carter will meet up with Mayfair as he questions her about Jane where things get tense. Later the team will chase a suspect through the cemetery as they close in, and Jane can be seen protecting an urn.
The preceding episode began with a flashback to two years ago at a biohazard lab where a scientist had died. In the present, Patterson and her BF had figured out another tattoo from Jane's body. DNA had confirmed that Jane was Taylor.
Taylor had been talking to Doctor Borden and she was making progress. Taylor asked Kurt about his family. Taylor told Kurt that whoever put his name on her back knew about their childhood connection.
One of the tattoos led the team to the Center for Disease Control where they discover that there were vials for every deadly disease out there. The vials were supposed to be kept in a more secure lab.
The team stopped the threat and something called Project Daylight was revealed. In the end, Patterson told Kurt that Jane was not Taylor after all since another test revealed a no match.
"Blindspot" airs every Monday.
