'Blindspot' season 1 news: Jane Doe and her tattoos

With the debut of the new NBC series "Blindspot," actors of the show recently shared details of the upcoming season.

The series follows the story of Jane Doe, who appeared in the middle of Times Square in a duffel bag, with no explanation. With that, she was taken to the FBI, which revealed that the tattoos on her body resemble a clue to a crime.

Recently, the star of the series spoke about her new role, Jane Doe, during an interview with TV Line. Alexander shared that she was actually in the duffel bag for the filming and would occasionally pull a string for more air. In addition, it was revealed that Alexander was very enthusiastic about her new fake tattoos. She explained that she likes to show them off in public and see how others react to her. She also spoke to E! News about how they actually get the tattoos on her every day. She said, "Every single day I put on the arms and then chest up. And the neck and the part of my back... Typically, in the forearms and the chest up, which takes like an hour and a half."

Actor Sullivan Stapleton will join her in the series as FBI Agent Kurt Weller. He explained that he did not know who Alexander was before they were offered to star in the upcoming series. The premiere showed that Agent Weller's named was also tattooed onto Jane's back. While he explained that he has never met her, it is evident that the upcoming season will unravel the story further. With that, executive producer Martin Gero also shared details about the pair. He said, "It's something that, once [Weller] realizes what it is, it feels like there can be no other reason. It's based on an incident in his past that has, in many ways, defined who he is, every part of who he is."
