'Blindspot' Season 3 Spoilers, News: Roman Resurfaces, Jeller Revives Romance and Rich DotCom Returns

"Blindspot" season 3 is wasting no time when it returns on NBC this October. The show will pick up where it left off last season and will have Roman (Luke Mitchell) resurfacing, as well as Jane (Jaimie Alexander) reuniting with Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). FBI friend and foe Rich DotCom (Ennis Esmer) will also be back this season.

NBC released a new teaser to "Blindspot" season 3 during at the New York Comic-Con. It showed that Roman is bent on making Jane's life much more unbearable since he believes she betrayed him. If last season Roman was her ally, then the tables will turn for the siblings' relationship in "Blindspot" season 3.

"A lot of people are going to die for what you've done," Roman tells Jane in the teaser. "And I'm going to enjoy every minute of watching you suffer."

The short clip of season 3 also gives a glimpse of the romance between Jane and Weller. After spending some time apart, however, will Jeller try and patch up their problems? Will their relationship fall back comfortably and recover or will the couple sweep this under the rug?

"Blindspot" season 3 will also bring back one frequent guest in Ennis Esmer, who plays the criminal Rich DotCom. Jane will resist his presence at first because he fooled the FBI quite a few times before.

"The FBI has decided they trust Rich Dotcom," Blindspot executive producer Martin Gero said. "So while that may be foreign to Jane as she's returning, we kind of explain, in backstory, that he's helped them out a lot and is trying to turn a new leaf."

If Esmer was only on a couple of episodes in season 1 and 2, he will be a semi-regular in "Blindspot" season 3. His character will be closely working with Patterson (Ashley Johnson) but it's not yet clear if he will become a permanent of the team moving forward.

"Blindspot" season 3 premieres on NBC on Friday, Oct. 27, at 8:00 p.m. EST.
