'Blood and Oil' Episode 2 Spoilers and Pilot Episode Recap: Will Wick Cover Up His Crime?
In the new episode of "Blood and Oil" entitled "The Ripple Effect," the official synopsis reads, the aftermath of the robbery has suspicions flying as all signs indicate an inside job at Briggs Oil. Wick scrambles to do everything he can to hide his involvement, but his accomplice may prove to be too much of a wild card and expose Wick's part in the crime that nearly killed his father. Meanwhile, the arrival of Hap's daughter, Lacey, stokes a rivalry with Carla, Hap's wife. Also, Billy continues to be seduced by Hap's world and jumps into another deal with him without consulting his wife, Cody.
In the preview for the episode, it would seem that Wick will try to cover his tracks and mask his involvement in the crime. Hap's daughter, Lacey, will enter the scene and she will cause tension between herself and Carla, Hap's wife. Billy will enter another deal and he will not consult his wife first.
In the pilot episode, it began with Billy LeFever and his wife Cody who were on the road to North Dakota. Their family had just thrown them a going away party and they had just raised enough money to open a laundromat shop there. On the road, they wrecked their truck and everything was destroyed. They ended up hitchhiking the rest of the way.

When they arrived in town, they headed to a bar in order to ask about any hotel vacancies. There are no hotels, but there was a place called Patchwork Motel where other people camped out in tents. Cody looked for a place to live, while Billy looked for a job.
Cody was shocked when the only place she could find was a run-down room that cost $2,000 a month. Billy ended up working at an oil site with Hap Briggs. Billy got fired from the oil site after a mishap with Hap's son Wick, while Cody got a job at the pharmacy and got an advance.
Cody overheard something about a piece of land that had plenty of oil, which was owned by the Indians. Billy and Cody bought the land and they lease it to Hap for a percentage of his oil. Billy and Hap visited the oil rig only to discover that someone is stealing the oil. Billy got into a fight with the intruder.
"Blood and Oil" airs every Sunday.
