'Blood and Oil' Episode 5 Spoilers and Episode 4 Recap: There's More Trouble Ahead
In the upcoming episode of "Blood and Oil" entitled "Rocks and Hard Places," the official synopsis reads, "Lacey joins the family business; Billy tries to blackmail Hap with information Cody shared with him in confidence; Hap informs Sheriff Tip that Wick may know more about the robbery than he's letting on; and Cody is put in harm's way when Wick lashes out at Gary."
In a promo for the episode, it seems that Hap knows that his son Wick knows more about the robbery than he has let on. Billy tries to blackmail Hap with some information that he recently learned. And something bad happens to Cody that unites the town.
In some photos from the episode, Wick and Hap are at the oil site with some people, and Hap looks concerned about something. Lacey joined her family at the oil site and she can be seen talking to Wick about something.
In the last episode, it began with Lacey and AJ as they made love on her bed. AJ tried to convince Lacey not to leave town. Lacey had breakfast with Hap and Carla. Carla was happy that Lacey would be leaving soon.
Elsewhere, Cody was trying to get Billy out of bed since she had arranged an interview for him at another oil site. Billy complained that he owned one before but it went up in flames when he trusted Hap.
Meanwhile, Sheriff Tip was bothered about the sudden death of Spinks and he had talked to Gary who claimed that he found the rig but did not kill Spinks. Sheriff Tip believed that Gary killed Spinks because he was going to be ratted out but he had no proof.
Billy met with McCutching and Emma about investing on a piece of land. They head to an auction and bid everything. They almost had it but they were outbid by Hap online and they lost the land.
Hap threw a party for Jules and everyone attended. At the party, Lacey uncovered AJ's hidden agenda. Hap forced AJ to work for him. In the end, Sheriff Tip and Wick met at a bar and Tip told him that he had his eye on Gary's accomplice.
