'Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond' Episode 2 Spoilers: Huge Changes Are Coming to Hellsalem's Lot in 12-Episode Sequel Anime Series

Leonardo Watch's job as a Libra agent literally took a head on the Japanese action-anime series, "Kekkai Sensen & Beyond (Blood Blockade & Beyond)." But now that the president has taken a more active interest in Hellsalem's Lot by sending an official diplomatic envoy, what changes will this bring forth to the inter-dimensional city three years following the Collapse?

The premiere episode saw Leo's plans for his first full day off foiled when Zapp Renfro threw a case containing Franz Ackerman's head through his window.

Franz was the diplomatic envoy sent by the president to speak to the citizens of Hellsalem's Lot on his behalf. But due to the Headless Duke Durer's villainous intervention, Franz's head was dimensionally displaced and was separated from the rest of his body. And since Zapp was caught in a battle with some rowdy supernatural thugs, Leo was tasked with the mission to deliver the head to the Federal Hall in time for the press conference.

All's well that ends well in the end, but one can't help but wonder how this visit, as well as the unfortunate events leading up to it, will affect Hellsalem's Lot relations with the rest of the United States.

On the other hand, the preview for the next episode, titled "A Phantom Hospital Ward Rises," seems to hint at a mission featuring two of Libra's older members, Klaus Von Reinherz, the leader, and Steven A. Starphase, Libra's second-in-command.

Ever since the Collapse happened and what was previously New York City was turned into a melting pot for all things weird and supernatural, the people living in it have learned to adapt to their continuously changing landscapes.

But can Libra still keep up with their duty of containing these strange elements from bleeding out beyond the borders of Hellsalem's Lot?
