'Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond' Episode 4 Spoilers: Chain to Take on a Dangerous Mission?
What was supposed to have been a day off work took drastic turns for some of the members of the crime-fighting organization, Libra, on the Japanese action-fantasy anime series, "Kekkai Sensen & Beyond (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond)."
When some thugs took the money that Leonardo Watch was supposed to send to his sister, he decided to take a stun baton out to take care of the matter on his own. And although he only got beaten up for it for a second time, his co-worker, Chain Sumeragi, eventually managed to take the thugs' wallets in the end.
The episode also got Libra's second-in-command, Steven A. Starphase, in a bind with his friends, who turned out to be working for an organization that wanted to take him in, preferably alive. His keen observation skills and quick thinking helped him turn the tables on his pseudo-friends and also led him to appreciate his housekeeper, Veded, who may well be the only true friend he has outside of Libra.
And as for the womanizer Zapp, a woman who has lost her beloved cat cast a Banalcadeth spell on Zapp's nether region, which could've easily taken out that part of his body if he had not found the said cat, thanks to Verdad's kids.
The day had been really tough, but all's well that ends well for everyone except for Chain, who may be facing a much tougher day at work on the next episode, titled "Werewolf Mission: Chainpossible."
The preview for the episode not only shows Chain caught in an intense battle with a demonbeast, but it also teases some past memories that have caused Libra's leader, Klaus Von Reinherz, some regrets.
Who could Chain be up against? What has happened to Klaus and the women that came and went in his life and how will his past-induced regrets affect his present?
