'Bloodline' Season 3 Release Date and Spoilers: Unexpected Characters to Come Back in the Series
Netflix has not yet announced the official release date of "Bloodline" Season 3 but there is a big possibility for a third season to be released and characters from the previous season may also come back.
Danny Will Be Back In Season 3
In the second season of the series, Danny (Ben Mendelson) died in the hands of his brother. That was the last time that Danny was seen in the series. However, in a recent report, co-creator Glenn Kessler stated that Danny will still appear in Season 3. It appears that Danny has a great influence to the family and that his decision to go home was the one thing that created the tension.
The irony of the situation was that John, who was closest to Danny, was the one person who killed him. In the upcoming third season, Danny is expected to return as flashbacks in John's mind or it might be that Danny will appear as an apparition to torment John for what he did.
A third season of "Bloodline" might be of a different series with Danny dead but will still come back in the upcoming third season.
As of this time, a specific date for the third season has not been revealed yet, but as per the showrunners of the series, there will be an upcoming season that will be released. In fact, Daniel Zelman, the show's co-creator revealed that they are prepared to have a fifth or even a sixth season for the series.
Zelman further revealed that the next seasons have been ready on what the storyline will be. Furthermore, co-creator, Todd A. Kessler has confirmed that the production is waiting for Netflix to officially announce the renewal of the third season of the series.
A Darker Turn
The showrunners also indicated that "Bloodline" Season 3 will show a darker turn for the series. It has also been reported that they will remain in Florida for the set location since the Florida Keys plays an important part in the series.
"Bloodline" is a Netflix original thriller drama series created by Todd Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman and produced by Sony Pictures Television.
The series premiered with a 13-episode first season and was renewed for a 10-episode second season. For the third season, once it is finalized and a release date will be announced, there is also a plan to have 10 episodes.
"Bloodline" Season 3 has been reported to air in 2017.
